New Year

How fast time passes us without realizing how much we have gone through and experienced. It seems just like yesterday that I was in orientation entering my new school SM All Saints with most of my frens from St Agnes and now its gonna be soon the last year of my time in this school . One of the fastest 5 years i have ever been through but yet the most enjoyed. I thank God for the new friends i made and also the reunion of old friends even from kidnergarden(1st Step) and even the friends i have been almost all my life . Next year is a busy year for all us Form 5 and i wish everyone goodluck and that one should enjoy life . I thank everyone of u who has been my friend knowing i can be an ass at times and those who dislike me or i have done wrong i ask for ur forgiveness as i know i have lost the trust of some . Life and itself has so many mysteries yet so much happiness and i cant imagine a better way to spend my high school years than to do it with u guys =) My friends a new year is upon us and so much is ahead in our lives so many more problems we will face and yet so many lessons we will learn. Life is to short to be complicated for those whose lives are so dramatic. I for one love it simple and that will be my new years resolution to have a simple life. Hope Everyone of u have a great new years dinner or party. I for one am going to have a blast :P ill be at Rumba if u guys wanna meet up the more the merrier =) Love you guys . Underwater Nature

So i know lots of u havent dived nor have u gone snorkeling so id just like to share with u some of the beauties of the life underwater. I know the pics mite seem so perfect but u get the idea its something similar jsut that the guy taking the photograph is really good .





Look at this image where the fishes suround the diver. Last time in Sipadan the baraccuda schools were so huge that when it swam in a circle it would block out the sun there used to be so may bumpheand fish that u couldnt see the corals right next to u . The vast variety and number or life underwater is decreasing DRASTICLY . My last trip the school of baracuda was only in the meer tenths maybe a hundred or maz 200. The bumpheads were just 40 in number and only one school could be found. The goverments idea of conservation which is moving all the operaters out of Sipadan was one of the DUMBEST things to do . as they thought us divers were poluting the corals reef when most of us were actually taking care of it. Operaters who didnt want to lose tourist would clean up the place so that the corals and beach wouldnt depleat but moving the operaters out made a big fire. Moving all the wood and things out of Sipadan polluted diving points such as the Drop Off and Baracuda Point as accidental dropping of items such as wood and so on. Even the army put on the island is suposedly SPEAR FISHIN decreasing the number of fishes. Tell me IS THIS CONSERVING? OR IS THIS MAKING SHYT UP! Moreover the goverment and the idea of 120 permits to go in is just BULLSHYT ! WHY CONTROL THE DIVERS! WHEN THEY CANT EVEN TAKE CARE OF THE ISLAND IN THE FIRST PLACE! They are jsut adding kerosene into the fire causing more disruption and chaos. Why destroy tourism on purpose when divers are one of the highest tourism contributers. its either they just wanna make money out of selling the permit making someone out there VERY RICH.

Diving

SO i went diving again today and it felt GOOD as usual XD today the dives were abit short cause we went with afew family frens who havent dived for quite some time . Neways the special things we saw was a CROCODILE FISH . Its not that ive never seen in before i mean i have at Mabul island but i didnt know one could see it in KK!!! hahah what a suprise it was for me . Even our duve master Robert said that that was only his 2nd time he saw a crocodile fish this year. So that means if he dives 5 times a week its 480 dives minimal cause its 2 dives aday . i havent counted night dives and dives during weekends . SO its a 1/240 probability to see one this year XD hahah so we were really lucky . And we saw like this HUGE cuttlefish which Robert said he hasnt seen in a long time either ahha so all in all it was a good and interesting trip . =) gtg for 2 dparty dinners now haha TATA

What A Way To Spend Christmas Eve

So i went

DIVING AGIN WOHOO!!!
nayhahaha 1st dive was bad cause the visibility was like only 2 metres :( but 2nd dive was better alot of corals :) and fishes i gues ahahah but 2nd dive we were down for only 45 mins as David was abit low on air :) all in all it was a good dive :) The more the merier hahahah . At night ime n my family went to Uncle Peters hse . The normal group was there :) The food was DELICIOUS how i miss Aunty Maria's cooking :) neways they were going to go to Rumba atnight like at 1230 but i was kinda tired and my sis i guess was also abit lazy since we have been ther like 3 times and going to go there on new years eve so we decided not to go.

MERYY CHRISTMAS :)
So today is Christmas and i jsut got back home aint nothing to do now. Church was ok i guess cause i wasnt really touched by the sermon. Im not saying my church didnt do a good job but i just didnt feel IT if u get what i mean... So tonight we are going to the Chiu's house :) we are planning to go stay over night at the island on the 26 like camping but they havent confirmed so im not sure whether we are even going haizzz wat to do. A Happy Christmas It Shall Be

Today was AMAZING.. It enlightened my mood and made me feel alive again. I went Diving and i tell u the feeling was magnificant. I went diving with Pam her brother and some Netherlands people. Robert Was out Instructor was as usual . So the 1st dive was very unsatisfying considering the visibility was crap and we didnt see anything nice . This was behind Sapi island. 1st dive was about 57 minutes as my first dive is always very unstable. We had a surface interval of almost 2 hours and went back on the boat for the 2nd dive . SO the 2nd dive was GOOD saw like lionfish,baracudas,batfish ,stonefish and lots more . we were down for about and hour and fifteen minutes . came back and went to wash up. When i got home I relaized I FORGOT MY UV SHIRT AT THE JETTY!!! OMG!!! AND ITS NOT CHEAP TO BUY ONE!!! so i called Fung to help and so happen Pam was ther and she said she helped me take it . so wat i am here to say is
THANKS PAM YOU ARE MY HERO!!! =P

Long 2 Days

So ive been out non stop for the past 2 days which is tiring but actually really fun :)
It all started with my sisters birthday oh the 16th oof december :)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY STEPH!!
So that day at night we went to Rumba to celebrate whihc was lots of fun . Edbert ordered this drink for my sis called Flaming Lamboguinni hahah its COOL!!! hahah and the band at Rumba is actually REALLY GOOD. They actually can SING like REally well compared to like other bands . Neways here are some pictures .
















So after the partying in Rumba me n my sis got back at like 1.15 am and i my comp just finished downloaoding episode 11 and 12 of Heroes seaon 3 SOOO I was eager to just watch one episode so i watched episode 11 with my sis and went to bed at 2 plus..

The next morning i woke up at 7 am to go pick up Dunsatn , Ero , Victor for swimming.. I dont know why we went so early but yea it was planned that way XD so we went for breakfast at a shop my dad brought us and soon after we were at sutera.. We went swimming at Marina for an hour or so and SUDDENLY Ero ask us to go on a treasure hunt to look for his bracelet given to him by his gurlfren JENGJENGJENG.. Well we couldnt find it ANYWHERE so we gave up. Then we went to Pan Pacific to swim and sunbathed abit.. Then we were bored so be started digging a hole at the beach and burried victor in it XD the sand we put on him was so thick and compressed that he couldnt move even if he tried hahah so we had to dig him back out hahahah neways heres a picture of it.

newys i brought my grandparents to sutera for lunch and went home. Soon after that i had to go to dereks house for his party. Went had a GREAT time :) but sad every1one left abit early . Neways Teoh,Alex, n I stayed over so we went to play basketball which wa titing but FUN hahah newys heres some pics.

Diving Permit

Sipidan Permit System Sucks!!!

Planning a trip to Sipidan in the near future? Before you finalize your plans you must consider the changes over the last 4 months in the permit system! My 2 dive buddies and I traveled from around the United States to stay at SMART dive resort on Mabul, October 9-16, 2008. You will be surprised to hear that we were only able to dive Sipidan ONE DAY!!!

Before booking in May, we had heard a little of the new permit system of only 120 divers a day being allowed to dive Sipidan in an attempt to preserve the world class diving site. We had no idea to which the extent the permit system would limit the diving for divers in the area, and the inequality of the new process. While we are all for preserving this wonderful site, we feel it is the responsibility of the dive resorts via the tour operators to inform vacationers that while they pay to dive Sipidan, they will be seeing very little of the precious waters around that island. We were in Mabul for 6 full dive days and were allowed only ONE day to dive the world class diving sites of Sipidan. The rest of our dive days were spent diving around Mabul and Siamil Island. While these are good dive sites, we did not fly half way around the world and spend thousands of dollars to dive Mabul. We came to dive SIPIDAN!!!

While there, we learned that the new Minister of something or other has taken over the permit system for the Malaysian Government and started enforcing the permit system in August of this year. There are 12 resorts and one live-aboard attempting to land the 120 golden permits to dive Sipidan. At SMART alone, while we were there, there were 101 divers at the resort. No matter how you do the math, there was a heck of a lot of divers trying to get permits each day to dive Sipidan and only 120 dolled out by the government. It appears some resorts get more permits allotted each day than others. Borneo Divers was getting 22-25 permits a day while we were there and SMART only getting 10-12 permits a day.

So while we are on our lovely stay at SMART, and yes the resort is lovely, we learn that the division of permits to each dive resort appears random and circumspect. The added stress to find out if you would ÁØin the trip to Sipidan the next day was ridiculous. The worst was around lunch time. At SMART, there is a giant Dive Board where each diver is assigned to a dive boat and the dive site for the following day. Imagine trying to enjoy lunch in the large dining hall filled with anxiety and hope as everyone prayed their name would be assigned the Sipidan dive boat! To add fuel to the fire, the manager of SMART, held court as he made a huge production of plugging names in, erasing them etc. Nice relaxing vacation huh?

We think it is the responsibility of SMART and the other dive resorts in Mabul, to inform their tour operators of this change in the process, thus allowing the tour operators to inform their customers who may have wanted to change their vacations and do it in a timely matter as to get a refund from the resort! Since this letter was written, SMART sent out a letter to our tour operator informing them of the permit changes. Way too late for us to get a refund of course!

To all our diving friends?call your tour operator, and contact your dive resort prior to your trip so that you dont feel the same disappointment that we did!

This statement was from a diver who went to Sipadan and this happened.. It really is sad and hopefully more of you guys will be divers and fight off this permit problem . Hoping the goverment will destroy this permit problem for Sipadan before its 2 late and divers start going other places such as Bali , Great Barier Reff and so many more other places thus decreasing the number of tourist and decreasing money earned for the goverment. It has said to be Sipadan Diving brings in MILLIONS of RINGGIT from different currencies EVERY YEAR. This permit issue will destroy the tourism for Kota Kinabalu,Tawau,Semporna,Sandakan making it harder for people to earn a living making life harder for everyone. See the problems this causes . Divers are important tourists that need also to be satisfied .

Blue Note

So 2 nights agowhich was the 5th i think i went to blue note with my sis, cousins and frens to see a good family friend Dj :) he calls himslef Fine China his music is GOOD his real name is Jonathan Ngu=) but is was kinda loud tho so when i came out of the club my ears were ringing hahah neways halfway through so ngam Kimberley Chee was at Beach Hotel (for u guys who arent familiar Blue Note is in Beach Hotel) SO i went out for a chat with her to catch up since havent talked to her for SO LONG (abit 2 long) i mean like face to face hah . Neways i went back in to the club and was ther with every1 until 2.30 a.m REALLY FUN! neways here are some photos .. Most of them I am Missing In Action .

Guitar Hero

So as u guys know i said i bought guitar hero. Well yesterday i went to sleep over at Derek's house and we wher playing it like ALL NIGHT!!! IT WAS FUN!! hahaha really crazy night hahahah so we played medium career since i already finished career in easy mode.. Derek caught up which was fast n good :) so here are a few pics of last night.

Days after hols

So sorry guys for not updating bout my LONg holiday but i havent got a hold on the pictures .. Neways ill talk bout what isve been doing recently. I have been watching Heroes.. I know in know im kinda late on the addiction but i dont usually have so much time to catch up on tv with the series during school days cause it never fits my scedule so i bought the whole series. And many of u may think WHY THE FREAK DID HE BUT THE WHOLE 2 SEASONS I HAVE IT. Well it cost me Rm 15 for like 50 episodes and suposedly its original . i bought it from China. and u guys whould think CHINA OMG ITS FAKE! ANDS ITS CHEAP ITS GOT TO BE FAKE! hahahah well i dont think its fake cause i actually bought it from PARKSON nyhahaha and it has the sticker on it thou i have my own doubts that it is fake since its so dirt cheap but OH WELL i can still wach XD neways i also recently got a new type of cube from thailand . THE PYRAMID!!! wohoo its fun .. one fren told me its HARD and the person fren has one and cant solve it till now even tho the person can solve the 3x3 n stuff. im here to say I SOLVED IT nyahahahah not showing of just stating a fact that alot of people who learn how to CUBE dont understand the methods n how it actually works. most people memorise formulaes and jsut keep doing that without thinking. I admit i did that to int he begining when Derek Yong first taught me but the he said to me that i dont understand how it works which is not good. SO i listened to him learning how n figuring out how and understanding . And it actually REALY REALY helps. SOOO 1st lesson here : DEREK YONG IS ALMOST ALWAYS CORRECT(i put always cause no 1 is perfect)(yes derek i know ur grinning n laughing n smiling ur butt off now ) 2nd lesson:You have to uunderstand it(learnt this from derek) 3rd:Fake stuff are cheap and good cause ori stuff is overpriced not saying that i dont buy ori:P i also have been playing guitar hero!! i got the guitar XD the neck sensor does not work very well but oh well i cant expect 2 much . hahaha so ill show u guys some pics now :) ill post the pic of the guitar another time. So me record for the pyramid is 30 secs :)

Thursday= BADMINTON
So i went to urhhh i dont know the name of the place but its on the way to Bukit Padang there.. Some chinese place im bad with chinese names hhahahah.. So this all started when Yii Chyng n i were msging about i forgot what and she randomly ask whether i wanted to play badminton or go to the gym tomorow morning. I agreed so we went the next morning with Samuel and Derek. Derek reached abit late cause of his injured leg but atleast he came :) HAHAH SAMUEL cycled his bike in the badminton area and he got CAUGHT n was SCOLDED XD HILARIOUS!!! hahahaha neways i palyed with Samuel and dont ask the score but yeaa the next day my leg was aching from bending to save drops hahah. I palyed with Yii Chyng to :) FUN! n played with derek in doubles n single ...
Friday= Sleepover
So i went to Dunstan's house to sleepover which was cool :) we slept at like 6 i think .. Ero n DUnstan slept abit earlier cause Dunstan was tired and Ero had tuition the next day :) We did the normal guy things like play comp, watch tv, playstation, joke around. That sort of thing =) sooooo after the sleep over is TODAY ....

Today= Packing,Gaming,Dinner
So today i started packing abit as i already packed quite abit yesterday so liek i jsut finished up the end touches to my luggage.. I gamed quite abit in Gunz today with Mata n Mulut.... Mata is Nazri and Mulut is Keng... IM LEVEL 46 ALREADY!! WOHOOO but im sure they are going to overtake me during my hols so yeaa hahaha.. Lastly today is my Grandfathers birthday!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA !! so here is a pic of my granparents =) today

Cycling =)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY KYSTAL TAN !! :P HAIZZ CHYNG SO BACK SO EARLY XD .....so today i went cycling and being a smart alex me n victor taught the rain was movie in a diff direction but WE WERE WRONG. We were at a shop and it satrted POURING like PORING omg it was so heavy.. so we waited,,, and waited... and waited.... and waited.. and it got worse than before SOOOOOO we decided to make a run for it.. Jun lIn had my bike so he went to victors hse as it was nearer and some how im gonna get my bike back but thats not the point.. I made a run for it SOLO. and when i reached a shortcut at oriental it freaking looked like a SEA! IM NOT JOKING.. The water was up to my feet covering my feet almost and i could barely cycle pass it... even the myvi behind me started reversing after seeing me hahah so i had to go through a way where i had to carry my bike n it was a bit muddy. when i got there the stairs that was there was like a FOUNTAIn like seriously hahahah neways today was funr eally fun somehting new :)
